Due to the growing concerns of COVID-19, the novel coronavirus, LifeStream Services is taking the necessary precautions to avoid the spreading of the virus and working to put the health and safety of their partners, employees, clients, and community at the highest priority.
Beginning Monday, August 2, the LifeStream offices in Yorktown, Pendleton, and Richmond are open to the public.
With the Division of Aging approval, all in-home client visits are now being done via the phone. Care Managers and Options Counselors will be doing visits and check-ins with their clients on the phone.
Café Sites and Home-Delivered Meals
Beginning August 2, LifeStream Café sites are now open for lunch. Lunch is provided on a donation basis to those 60 years of age and older and their spouse. Those under the age of 60 can enjoy lunch for a small fee. Café sites are adhering to CDC guidelines and will operate with the health and safety of attendees as the top priority.
The following café sites are now closed for indoor dining due to the increase in COVID-19 cases in the counties: Franklin County Senior Center, Gas City Café, New Castle Senior Center, Sherman Street Church of God, and Pendleton Community Library. Individuals are still able to reserve meals and pick them up during the designated serving times and take them to go.
Home delivered meals are still being delivered. Those over the age of 60 who are in need of food assistance can call LifeStream to sign up for home delivered meals.
